Our hiring process
Stage 1
Once you’ve applied, you’ll have a chat with one of our Clinical Resourcing Specialists. They’ll find the perfect role to suit you based on your requirements, such as what type of contract you’d like, the type of practice you want to work in, what your long-term career objectives are and how we can support you with them. From there, they’ll shortlist suitable roles and arrange for you to visit practices that are relevant to you.
Stage 2
You’ll then meet with a Practice Manager or Area Manager, who will give you a more in-depth interview, as well as a tour of the practice and an introduction to the team.
Stage 3
Following this, your Clinical Resourcing Specialist will arrange for one of our Clinical Directors to call you to discuss your clinical experience. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask any questions you might have and talk one to one with a clinical colleague. These calls usually last about half an hour.
Stage 4
If you’re successful, we’ll make a formal offer. At this point, your Clinical Resourcing Specialist will put you in touch with one of our Resourcing Support Advisors. They’ll collect all of your compliance details and arrange for you to attend an induction, where you’ll meet fellow clinicians, who are also new to mydentist.
Stage 5
Your induction will take place at the world-class mydentist Academy in Manchester, and will cover a range of subjects including CPR, compliance, PDP’s, best practice, and how to get the most out of working with us.
Stage 6
After your induction, you’ll start at your chosen practice, and begin your mydentist journey. During your first week, you’ll benefit from a practice orientation and really get to know the team. You’ll also meet and receive further support from the regional team, including the Clinical Support Manager and Clinical Director.
