Our Excellence Award winners 2021!

The winners of the {my}dentist Excellence Awards 2021 have been revealed at our second ever virtual awards event!
Our Chief Executive, Tom Riall, thanked everyone for their hard work and commitment and congratulated the 800 plus people who had been nominated for an award this year.
The awards aim to recognise individuals across our business who give exceptional care to our patients while supporting their teams. A special category this year recognised our Covid-19 Hero, Dr Jimmy Greyling of {my}orthodontist St Ives. Dr Greyling has been qualified for 46 years and is loved by his patients and team for his care and compassion. When practices closed in lockdown he manned the phones to provide as much advice as he could, and when we were able to reopen he worked non-stop to see as many patients as possible.
Heidi Helsdon, our area manager in East Lancashire, was also recognised with the special Chief Executive's Award for Outstanding Excellence. Heidi won for her leadership in bringing her practice teams together to raise funds for Dementia UK, {my}dentist's official charity partner. Heidi and her team have raised over £4,000 already for the charity and are completing 22 fundraising activities by the end of March 2022.
