Ainsley, our lead clinician, graduated from the University of Manchester in 2004, working in Sandbach before joining Winsford in 2013. Ainsley furthered his skills in 2013 with a PGCert in Restorative Dentistry from Tipton Training and in 2015 with a MSc (distinction) in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Manchester. He is studying PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Clinical Practice at Edge Hill University. Ainsley trains graduate Therapists and Dentists and works as an Educational Supervisor for Dental Therapists. He is an Honorary Tutor at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital, assisting in the education of post-graduate Dentists.Ainsley utilises the professionals in Winsford to assist patients in their long term care for their oral health. As a restorative dentist, Ainsley helps stabilise oral health to ensure suitability for complex restorative care. He enjoys providing high-quality denture work and advanced tooth wear cases which make significant improvements to patients’ quality of life. In 2023, Ainsley began providing Clearcorrect clear aligners to patients wanting teeth straightening treatment.Outside of work, Ainsley enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys hill walking and climbing, though to relax he enjoys learning about space physics and cosmology.
