Amanda began her career in dentistry in our Ashington practice as a Trainee Dental Nurse back in 2005. She continued her studies to complete a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2012 in Newcastle and is a member of The British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT), The British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (BSP) and The British Society of Paediatric Dentistry (BSPD). Amanda is passionate about preventative care and will offer all her patients, young and old, bespoke educational sessions on how to best look after their mouth, with tailored treatment in a calm environment. In Amanda's spare time she will usually be exploring the great outdoors and thrives from time in nature. When she's forced indoors, Amanda enjoys yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, and playing with her mischievous cats, Milo and Marcy.
