Mariam graduated from the University of Manchester in 2014. After qualifying, she worked in hospital for one year as a Senior House Officer alongside very skilled Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons gaining further knowledge and competence in the surgical side of Dentistry. She is now in a position to explain to her patients exactly what to expect when a referral is made to secondary services, which helps to put patients at ease. Mariam is particularly keen and good at reducing dental anxiety in both children and adults alike. Outside of Dentistry, Mariam very much enjoys family time, especially taking her young daughter on joint bike rides to discover hidden gems within the Manchester area. Her other interests include hiking, travelling and engaging in mindfulness.
