Mark graduated from Bristol 2014, completed Dental Foundation training in London and subsequently worked as a trainee in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital of Wales and the Royal London Hospital (2016 -2017) including Oral Surgery and Oral medicine. He continued working within OMFS in the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Torbay Hospital (2017 - 2019) and finally, as a trust doctor in the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (2019 - 2021), including looking after patients admitted into hospital. His passion is ‘Oral Surgery’, where complex tooth extractions are the most common procedure. Furthermore, Mark has a wealth of experience managing patients who have high dental anxiety. He has a calming, friendly demeaner, putting patients at ease and has practiced conscious sedation, involving providing medication through the veins making patients’ relaxed during their treatment, since 2017. He now sees outpatients as a Specialty Doctor in OMFS North Devon District Hospital, Primary Care Oral Surgeon (Heavitree Hospital) and Sedation Dentist at our practice. Mark completed further higher university training in Medical Education and Dental Implants. In his spare time, Mark enjoys Surfing, keeping fit in the gym and spending quality time with family & friends.
