Matthew graduated from King's College London in 2013 with the prestigious Peter Lunt Prize. In the following year, during his foundation training he was a finalist for the UK’s Young Dentist of the Year Award, 2014. He then wished to develop his surgical skills further and commenced Dental Core Training in Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery, being placed at the world renowned UCL Eastman, with an Honorary post as a Senior House Officer at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This was followed by a further position at The Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle and Newcastle Dental Hospital. Working with undergraduate students gave him a passion for teaching. He consequently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education at Newcastle University while working as a General Dental Practitioner in Cornwall. This new knowledge was used to become a mentor, allowing him to successfully training Dental Nurses. His holistic approach to patient care has led him to develop skills in other areas, completing his Master’s Degree in Advanced Restorative Dentistry from Manchester University in 2021. He uses these skills synchronously with ‘SmileFast’, ‘Enlighten Whitening’ and Facial aesthetics training from ‘DermaMedical’ to provide patients with an overall naturally enhanced look.
