Melissa Slatter qualified from: BSc (Hons) Oral Health Sciences, Manchester, 2010.Prior to my degree I was a dental nurse for three years at Tiddington Road. I have been back working at {my}dentist as a dental hygienist since I qualified in 2010. I strive to help patients maintain and improve their oral hygiene in order to treat, stabilize and/or prevent periodontal disease. I have an empathetic ear for all my patients. I am happy to take treatment slowly with nervous patients, working at a pace they are comfortable with so we can work together to build their confidence and acclimatize them to dental treatment. When I’m not at the surgery I am busy being a mum to our two daughters, running around after them and their ponies and working alongside my husband on our sheep farm.
