Mihai qualified in 2000 from Carol Davila University, Bucharest. For eight years, Mihai worked in his own private dental practice in Bucharest.He relocated to the UK in 2008 to work as a general dental practitioner. In 2009 he developed an interest in managing anxious patients by using conscious sedation. Mihai worked towards his Post Graduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation at Newcastle University.In 2017, Mihai was appointed an Educational Supervisor role for newly qualified dentists for Yorkshire Deanery.In 2018 he joined {my}dentist. Mihai loves dentistry, which he describes as ‘a mixture of art, technology, psychology’ and he is completely devoted to helping patients feel at ease and relaxed during treatment.Mihai has a long-standing interest in root canal treatments (endodontics), restorative dentistry and is keen to constantly improve his knowledge and skills.In 2020 he was awarded Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics from University of Chester (Simplyendo) where he is continuing studies towards a Masters in Endodontics.As a dentist with enhanced skills in endodontics (DwESE), he is accepting referrals for root canal treatments in many {my}dentist practices.Away from the practice, Mihai is a keen tennis player and likes to test his DIY skills in different projects.
