Munira Hirani graduated from Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry with an honours degree in 2010. Following a year in dental practice, she opted to spend a year working in the dynamic oral and maxillofacial surgery setting at Derby hospital; gaining a breadth of experience in dealing with facial trauma, oral surgery, oral medicine and oral cancer. Munira particularly enjoys the artistic side of dentistry utilising a fine eye for detail and creativity, to provide a cosmetically desirable result. Alongside teeth whitening, she has trained in Facial Aesthetics, providing both dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections to enhance natural appearance and fulfil individual requirements. She has recently volunteered abroad providing dentistry at an orphanage in a developing country, learning different approaches in both verbal and non- verbal communication to effectively manage language barriers. Utilising a calm patient approach helped to promote a positive experience and effectively build trust
