Myles Joseph Povey

Myles graduated with a First-Class Honours degree from Cardiff Dental School in 2012, where he also earned a First-Class intercalated BSc in Oral Diseases. Since joining the practice, he has pursued extensive postgraduate training, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the Smile Concepts Dominic Hassall Training Institute. This has equipped him with the skills and knowledge to provide a wide range of complex restorative treatments safely and predictably.With a passion for cosmetic dentistry, Myles offers various treatments to enhance smiles, including aesthetic composite bonding using the SmileFast system, veneers, and teeth straightening. He is a certified provider of both Invisalign and ClearCorrect. In addition to dental treatments, Myles also provides facial aesthetic procedures, including anti-wrinkle treatments.Beyond his work at the practice, Myles has volunteered with the charity Bridge2Aid, teaching oral surgery in Tanzania. He has also served as a clinical mentor for overseas dental graduates.Outside of work, Myles enjoys endurance sports and has completed multiple Iron Man’s and Ultramarathons.
