Nerea Garcia del Blanco graduated from the European University Madrid in 2003 and immediately immersed herself into her chosen profession. She invested a year working in her private family practice developing her skills as a general dentist and performing minor oral surgery. Nerea moved to the UK in July 2004. From her very first day as a dentist in the UK until the present, she has been working at Heavitree School House. Nerea is very approachable, and beyond the technical aspects of dentistry, enjoys the rapport she has built with her patients. She is an avid student of dentistry continuing to stay updated on the latest techniques. She has given back to the dental profession as demonstrated by her commitment to mentoring several early-career dentists and her having trained multiple dental nurses.Nerea prides herself on being a safe pair of hands that always looks out for her patients’ interest above all. Her wealth of experience and calm demeanour means that patients can be sure that their experience will be as pleasant and comfortable as possible. In her private life she is married and has two sons, and she enjoys cooking, reading and a good laugh with friends.
