Raquel is a passionate General Dental Practitioner with over 19 years of experience in family dentistry. After graduating from Lisbon University in 2002, she gained experience in Portugal and further training in the USA before settling in Cambridge in 2005. Raquel prioritizes her patients' comfort and well-being, taking time to listen and provide personalized care for both routine and complex treatments. Her gentle and calming approach makes her especially skilled with children and anxious patients. Raquel is committed to providing high-quality general dental care focusing on minimally invasive and evidence-based practices, including ClearCorrect teeth alignment for adults and Botulinum toxin treatments for joint issues and facial aesthetics. In addition to her clinical work, Raquel is dedicated to professional growth, taking part in clinical trials and being an active member of her local British Dental Association committee. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education and has mentored future dental professionals as a Clinical Supervisor.Outside of dentistry, Raquel enjoys family time, rowing on the River Cam, and looking after her allotment.
