Dr Stephen Pretorius BCh(PRET) MChD(STELL) FFD(SA) OMPDr. Pretorius qualified as specialist in Periodontics and Oral Medicine at Stellenbosch University as well as the College of Medicine of South Africa in 1989.He was prinicipal specialist in Peridontics, as well as Professor and Head of the Department of Diagnostics and Radiology at the Dental Faculty of the Medical University of Southern Africa until 1999, when he moved to the UK.He continues to work in a practice offering both NHS and private treatment that he acquired in 1999.His specialist interest is holistic minimal intervention dentistry, that includes general dentistry/specialist periodontal and implant treatment and disease prevention.He is a member of the following professional organisations:British Dental AssociationBritish Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.American Academy of Periodontology.Association of Dental Implantology, UK
