Vassilis has over 25 years of experience in restorative and aesthetic dentistry in the private sector in Greece. Originally trained in pharmacy and pharmacology, his passion for dentistry led him to shift careers. He started as a general dentist with his own private practice while also leading projects in a young offenders' institute in Athens.In 2017, Vassilis moved to the UK, where he joined a mixed NHS/private practice in Somerset. He has since completed numerous courses both in the UK and abroad to expand his expertise. For the past 15 years, his focus has been on implant dentistry, particularly single and multiple tooth replacements and denture stabilization. He also specializes in surgical procedures like sinus lifts and bone augmentation, and is gaining experience in full arch rehabilitation. Vassilis accepts referrals from other professionals for implant rehabilitation and offers non-surgical treatments such as short-term orthodontics, composite bonding, and teeth whitening.Vassilis is dedicated to enhancing his patients' dental experiences, especially those with dental anxiety. By building strong relationships, he creates a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Outside of dentistry, he loves traveling, exploring different cultures, and is a passionate theatre-goer, particularly enjoying opera performances.
