Welcome to {my}dentist Barking Longbridge Road, London, located in London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Our Seven Surgery practice has fourteen clinicians and one hygienist on hand to provide you both NHS and Private treatments, including our {my}options affordable private scheme, orthodontics options of clearcorrect, and Six Month Smiles, whitening and Implants for flexible appointment times operating seven days a week. Dr. Praveen Philip is a highly experienced clinician who provides general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, minor oral surgery, short term orthodontics, Dental Implantology. Dr. Anitha Kommineni provides clearcorrect and sixmonths smile for all ortho patients. We have an excellent support team of nurses and experienced receptionists.   • Dr .Sara Hassen Qualified from: MMD, ORE, MJDF Phillipines, 2008 GDC No: 222199
    Sara was born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Her passion for helping others drew her to dentistry. Studied at the prestigious Emillio Aguinaldo College in Philippines where she received an excellent training in all fields in dentistry. She practiced her first years in Saudi Arabia offering comprehensive dental treatment. Sara joined the NHS in 2016 in Minehead, Somerset South West England. Awarded the membership in the Royal College of Surgeon, London. As a member in {my}dentist she is offering both NHS and private dental services striving to treat her patients with highest level of care and comfort. She is expanding her knowledge developing special interest in restorative dentistry and aesthetic dentistry. she finds it deeply rewarding to help patients overcome their fear of dentistry through her gentle, friendly and approachable manner. When not in practice Sara enjoys baking, cycling and reading.

    Mahtab has worked at the {my}dentist practice since February 2022 and has become a great part of the team. She studied medical engineering and moved to Hungary to study dentistry as this was her passion. After graduating in 2016 Mahtab started to work in Budapest from 2017 up until the end of 2021 when she decided to come to the united Kingdom to persue her career. She enjoys spending time with patients and ensuring they get the best possible care. In her spare time when not at work Mahtab enjoys going out for coastal rides taking in the beautiful views. When the weather is not the best she enjoys watching movies, reading books and just spending quality time with friends and family.

    Dr Simpy Jindal graduated from India 2011. She moved to UK in 2017 and cleared Overseas exams in 2018 and in the same year qualified as a General Dentist . And thereafter started working with {my}dentist since 2019. Simpy is passionate about dentistry with keen interest in restorative , cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. She has recently completed her Invisalign certification and is keen to help people walk with a beautiful smile. She prefers to develop her skills further through multiple courses and study clubs. Her expertise includes Invisalign, natural tooth coloured fillings, composite bonding and teeth whitening along with general dentistry. She likes to spend time building a trusting relationship with her patients and enjoys helping anxious patients feel at ease. Having developed an interest in surgical dentistry he started placing implants approximately 15 years ago and subsequently completed implant certificate in 2012 under the supervision of Hilt Tatum, a pioneer in the field of Implant Dentistry. He has continued to expand his horizons in this field by attending numerous courses and symposiums. Vinny is embarking on his masters in Implant dentistry and is passionate about keeping up to date with advances in this area. Additional qualifications include a postgraduate masters degree in Medical Legal Practice from the University of Cardiff and a postgraduate certificate in Orthodontics. Vinny is completing a postgraduate Diploma in Facial Aesthetics and a certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a fixed solution for missing teeth that are the closest possible replacement for natural teeth. They involve one or more titanium screws being inserted into your jawbone to mimic a natural tooth root. Dental crowns are securely attached to these to fill the gaps in your mouth. Because dental implants are securely anchored in your jaw you’ll have the confidence to comfortably eat whatever you like.

  • Consultation Your initial consultation will be with either our Implant Surgeon or Treatment Coordinator (TCO), who can discuss the different types of implants, single or multiple depending on your need. Following this there may be a need for a more clinical focused consultation.

  • Diagnostic Scans We will carry out a number of digital scans, to build a digital 3D model of your mouth so we can get a clear picture of the area we will place the implant, and a more detailed X-ray using a Cone Beam Computer Tomography scanner so that our Implant surgeon can assess the state of the bone below the gum to get a really clear picture of your treatment need.

  • Treatment Plan Once our experienced implant surgeon has assessed all of you scans they will explain the nature of your treatment, the stages involved and costs. We offer flexible payment options to make implants even more affordable.

  • Commence Treatment Once you are happy we will begin treatment. The length and numbers of appointments will vary depending on the complexity of your particular need, but your Implant Surgeon will have detailed all of this in your treatment plan.

  • Implant Placed Once the implant(s) are placed it may be necessary it might be necessary to allow time for healing before attaching the replacement teeth. Once we are happy the implant has healed we will arrange a series of appointments to fabricate the replacement teeth.

  • Aftercare Your Implant Surgeon will advise you about looking after your implant and may well give you some painkillers to help with the pain over the days after your surgery as well as detailed advice about cleaning the implants and the teeth attached to them.
