Welcome to {my}dentist Goldington, also known as the Supermarket Dentist, a 3-surgery practice located in the Tesco Superstore in Goldington, Bedford. We are providers of both NHS and Private treatments, including our {my}options affordable private scheme for more flexible appointments without the private price tag.     ENDODONTICS DR SAVAN SHAH BDS (Hons) Cardiff University, MJDF(RCS Eng) ,PG Dip in Advanced Aesthetic, Restorative and Endodontics (Aspire Dental Academy) After graduating with 1st Class Honours at Cardiff University in 2011 (Bachelor Of Dental Surgery), Savan qualified as a dentist from Cardiff University, having won multiple awards. Savan had his first publication in the ‘Dental Update’ as a final year student, one of the biggest dental journals. After completing his DFT training in Hertford, East of England, Savan spent a year as a Senior House officer position in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at the Luton, QEII and Lister Hospitals (2012-2013), and attained an award for East of England Junior Paper’s day winner (AUDIT project). Thereafter he successfully completed the MJDF examinations, with varied experience in practice settings, working as an Associate Dentist and a Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics. Savan is committed to post-graduation education and strives to provide the highest level of dental care to all his patients using the most up-to-date dental techniques, placing patient care as his top priority. Savan has completed this Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Endodontics, Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry with Aspire Dental Academy (2014-2020).

    Dr Ali Hadi, is a dedicated family general dental practitioner with over two decades of experience and a proud father of three. Committed to ongoing education and with special interest in clear aligners, Dr Hadi strives to promote oral health awareness and accessibility.     Dr Dragos Cirstea was born in Gaestri, Romania in June 1979. He graduated from Dental School of Medical University of Craiova, Romania in 2004 gaining a Bachelors Degree in Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD Cum Laude). Due to keen interest & passion in surgical dentistry he enrolled for post graduate degree in Oral Surgery at the same university. He completed the PG studies in 2008 gaining a Specialist post graduate degree in Oral Surgery. Dr Dragos was always very passionate about implant dentistry, during PG studies he was actively involved in the PG clinic of Implantology. Dr Dragos moved to UK in 2009 working as an associate dentist in Kidlington. He retrained at Dentale Course of Implantology in Shrewsbury & Bristol to get back to his original passion pursuing implantology. Dr Cirstea is a member of ITI & has been trained with Straumann and Implantium dental implant systems. He is continuing his training in different new advanced surgical techniques.

Rana has many years of experience, Her journey with {my}dentist started in 2019. She has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry, including flexible dentures. Rana is starting her diploma in prosthetics in November 2024. Outside of her professional life, Rana enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and socialising.

    Hem has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. Hem completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at Bristol University in 2003 and qualified as a Dentist. He is passionate about dentistry and cosmetic treatment such as Emax crowns, flexible dentures, composite bonding and has successfully treated thousands of patients in the U.K. He offers highest standard of patient care and prides himself on delivering a first-class service to each of his patients. What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a fixed solution for missing teeth that are the closest possible replacement for natural teeth. They involve one or more titanium screws being inserted into your jawbone to mimic a natural tooth root. Dental crowns are securely attached to these to fill the gaps in your mouth. Because dental implants are securely anchored in your jaw you’ll have the confidence to comfortably eat whatever you like.

  • Consultation Your initial consultation will be with either our Implant Surgeon or Treatment Coordinator (TCO), who can discuss the different types of implants, single or multiple depending on your need. Following this there may be a need for a more clinical focused consultation.

  • Diagnostic Scans We will carry out a number of digital scans, to build a digital 3D model of your mouth so we can get a clear picture of the area we will place the implant, and a more detailed X-ray using a Cone Beam Computer Tomography scanner so that our Implant surgeon can assess the state of the bone below the gum to get a really clear picture of your treatment need.

  • Treatment Plan Once our experienced implant surgeon has assessed all of you scans they will explain the nature of your treatment, the stages involved and costs. We offer flexible payment options to make implants even more affordable.

  • Commence Treatment Once you are happy we will begin treatment. The length and numbers of appointments will vary depending on the complexity of your particular need, but your Implant Surgeon will have detailed all of this in your treatment plan.

  • Implant Placed Once the implant(s) are placed it may be necessary it might be necessary to allow time for healing before attaching the replacement teeth. Once we are happy the implant has healed we will arrange a series of appointments to fabricate the replacement teeth.

  • Aftercare Your Implant Surgeon will advise you about looking after your implant and may well give you some painkillers to help with the pain over the days after your surgery as well as detailed advice about cleaning the implants and the teeth attached to them.
