Welcome to {my}dentist Hayes, an 8-surgery practice located on Yeading Lane in Hayes, Middlesex. You can find us 5-minutes’ walk from the Lombardy Retail Park with plenty of public transport links in the area, including a bus stop directly outside the practice on the opposite side of the road. We are providers of both NHS and Private treatments, including our {my}options affordable private scheme for more flexible appointments, without the private price tag. Some of our available treatments including Six Month Smiles teeth straightening, Teeth Whitening, Facial Aesthetics and Hygiene appointments. We also offer a Hygiene plan to spread the cost of your deep cleans!

    Dr Corolus Salama Dental Surgeon GDC No 302161 Corolus graduated from the University of Liverpool with numerous honours and distinctions in Oral Diseases, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, and Radiology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medicine from St. George's Medical School, University of London. His accolades include winning the Association of British Academic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABAOMS) prize in 2021 and the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry (BSPD) report prize in 2020. He has undertaken additional training in medical emergencies and phlebotomy, and he plans to continue broadening his expertise through further courses. As a member of the British Dental Association (BDA), he actively participates in dental courses to stay abreast of the latest treatments and materials. Corolus has a particular interest in oral surgery and oral medicine, especially in a hospital environment. He aims to complete the MFDS exams with the Royal College of Surgeons, finish his medical training, and pursue a career as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Outside of work, Corolus practices martial arts and has achieved a black belt. Most importantly, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.

    Haren graduated from the University of Nairobi (Kenya) in 1984 with a BDS degree and did his internship and worked at the national hospitals in Nairobi and Kenya for a couple of years. Haren opened his own private dental practice which he ran for 14 years before emigrating to London. Haren passed his IQE exams in 2004 and from then has been working at this Practice ever since. Haren enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, in all his years of practice with emphasis to try and keep patients comfort and put there best interests first. What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a fixed solution for missing teeth that are the closest possible replacement for natural teeth. They involve one or more titanium screws being inserted into your jawbone to mimic a natural tooth root. Dental crowns are securely attached to these to fill the gaps in your mouth. Because dental implants are securely anchored in your jaw you’ll have the confidence to comfortably eat whatever you like.

  • Consultation Your initial consultation will be with either our Implant Surgeon or Treatment Coordinator (TCO), who can discuss the different types of implants, single or multiple depending on your need. Following this there may be a need for a more clinical focused consultation.

  • Diagnostic Scans We will carry out a number of digital scans, to build a digital 3D model of your mouth so we can get a clear picture of the area we will place the implant, and a more detailed X-ray using a Cone Beam Computer Tomography scanner so that our Implant surgeon can assess the state of the bone below the gum to get a really clear picture of your treatment need.

  • Treatment Plan Once our experienced implant surgeon has assessed all of you scans they will explain the nature of your treatment, the stages involved and costs. We offer flexible payment options to make implants even more affordable.

  • Commence Treatment Once you are happy we will begin treatment. The length and numbers of appointments will vary depending on the complexity of your particular need, but your Implant Surgeon will have detailed all of this in your treatment plan.

  • Implant Placed Once the implant(s) are placed it may be necessary it might be necessary to allow time for healing before attaching the replacement teeth. Once we are happy the implant has healed we will arrange a series of appointments to fabricate the replacement teeth.

  • Aftercare Your Implant Surgeon will advise you about looking after your implant and may well give you some painkillers to help with the pain over the days after your surgery as well as detailed advice about cleaning the implants and the teeth attached to them.
