Dr Maria Isabel Nunes graduated in Viseu, Portugal in 2012 and worked for six years in a private practice before relocating to the UK with her husband. This experience in the private sector gave Maria a huge variety of skills in all aspects of general and restorative dentistry. Maria joined {my}dentist, New Canal, Salisbury in January 2019 - having worked previously in {my}dentist Gillingham.
One of Maria’s strengths is her commitment to patients and she always aims to provide an excellent standard of dentistry in a calm and reassuring manner. Maria is especially interested in restorative dentistry and minimally invasive procedures.
Aside from dentistry, Maria is a nature enthusiast, passionate about her house plants! She also enjoys travelling with her husband.

Dr.Rui Pedro Vieira Covas

Pedro graduated in Porto, Portugal in 2015 starting with {my}dentist New Canal in 2017.
Pedro is committed to improving oral health and has participated in several programs with the World Health Organization dedicated to promoting Oral Health in developing countries.
Improving patient's smiles, and confidence are Pedro's passion, and motivation to be a Dentist and he is able to provide cosmetic solutions to a range of issues including missing teeth and discoloured fillings. Pedro can provide his patients with a range of treatments to resolve cosmetic issues from Denture Excellence to Cosmetic Bridges and Fillings.
Pedro is a nature enthusiast and enjoys exploring the countryside, jogging and travelling to Portugal to spend time with his family.

Dr.Sarah Longley

Sarah graduated with a Degree in Dentistry from Guys Hospital, London in 1997 and worked in both the NHS and Private sector.
She began with{my}dentist New Canal in 2015, using the skills she had gained to become a highly sought after Dentist within Salisbury.
Sarah is passionate about dentistry and has a sensitive, gentle approach to her patients. She enjoys treating children, cosmetic dentistry including “Denture Excellence” and provides Denplan Care within the Practice. Sarah’s knowledge and skills are constantly in use as a Mentor for new NHS Dentists.
Sarah is a Master Scuba Diver and nature enthusiast and has travelled all over, pursuing this passion.
Aside from dentistry, Scuba Diving and nature, Sarah’s main focus is her young family.

Dr.Theo Tamas
Qualified from: DMD Timisoara, Romania, 2006

Theo graduated in Timisoara, Romania in 2006 and practiced as a Dentist there until 2012, when he moved to the UK and joined {my}dentist..
Theo completed a two year training course in Implantology in 2014 with the Royal College of Surgeons in London, and was awarded the Advanced Implant Diploma.
Theo is passionate about Cosmetic Dentistry and Surgical Treatment and the skills he gained in his Diploma enable him to complete a vast array of procedures, including Sinus Lifting, Bone Grafting, Placing and Restoring Dental Implants.
Aside from Dentistry, Theo is a keen Gardener and Cycling enthusiast and enjoys spending his weekends with his wife and their son.

Mr.Bikram Malla
(Hygienist)

Mr Bikram Malla qualified as a Hygienist in 2010 from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He worked in the Royal Army Dental Corps until 2015 when he joined {my}dentist.
Bikram says “There is nothing quite like the feeling of helping a patient improve their oral health and confidence – it is the most satisfying part of my job.”
Bikram’s priority is ensuring primary oral health and he can provide Periodontal treatment to his patients.
Bikram also devotes time to Dental Charity and has a Degree in Mathematics.
Apart from Dentistry (and mathematics) Bikram loves to spend time with his wife and daughter, he enjoys mountain biking, running and football – and recently climbed to Mount Everest base camp and also climbed to Annapurna base camp with his 9 year old daughter and family.

Mrs Swathi Vuddanda qualified as a dentist in 2015 from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. Swathi then went on to register under the GDC as a Dental Therapist and Dental Nurse in 2018. She has been working with {my}dentist for a number of years as one of our amazing Hygienist. Swathi has a great rapport with all patients for being very patient friendly and passionate about delivering a quality of treatment and providing oral health care advice. Swathi is always sweet to both her patients and colleagues. In her spare time, she loves cooking and spending quality time with her husband and their two sons.
