Iram graduated with a distinction from the University of Leeds in 2021. Born and raised in Yorkshire, she has worked in general dental practice as well as secondary care in several specialities.
Iram is most passionate about general dentistry, but has experience in oral surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and paediatrics. She also has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, and she takes advantage of ongoing education through courses and seminars. This allows her to keep up to date with the exciting world of cosmetic dentistry.
Iram is passionate about providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for her patients. In her free time, she loves reading books and travelling the world.

Dr.Kani Mahmood
Qualified from: BDS England, 2022

Kani qualified at the University of Plymouth and joined the Birchfield team to work in general practice.
Although she enjoys general dentistry and performing treatments such as fillings, endodontics, crowns and dentures, Kani will soon embark on further development in an orthodontic aligner course to help patients straighten their teeth and restore confidence in their smiles.
She also continues to develop her knowledge and skills with regular courses and attending conferences.
Kani is an enthusiastic member of the team and has a passion, and talent, for treating children and young adults.
In her leisure time, she enjoys reading and relaxing by watching her favourite films.

Dr.Noha Hossam Said
Qualified from: BDS England, 2021

Noha qualified with the University of Birmingham in 2021, after graduating, she went on to complete her foundation training in Kidderminster.
She has a keen interest in paediatric and special care dentistry and intends to undertake further training in these specialities in the future.
Noha joined {my}dentist Birchfield in 2022, a dedicated clinician, she utilises her excellent manner with patients to support those who struggle with dental anxiety as they undergo treatment. She is dedicated to working with anxious patients, with the aim of helping them to overcome their concerns with time.
She is known for not only her expertise but for her kind and positive attitude and is proud to have been commended by several her patients for her calm and welcoming chairside manner.

Dr.Pooja Bhalla
Qualified from: BDS India, 2004

Dr Bhalla qualified in India in 2004, she relocated to the UK in 2006, where she completed her training from Cardiff University and began work in Swansea. Alongside general dentistry, she also achieved an additional master’s degree in Restorative and Aesthetics Dentistry from University of Manchester.
Due to her background, Dr Bhalla has a particular interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry including endodontics. In the future, she intends to complete an additional master's degree in oral surgery and expand her treatment offering to include Invisalign.
A passionate dentist, Dr Bhalla prides herself on her calm manner and wants to ensure patients of all ages feel relaxed and comfortable during their treatment.
In her personal time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, and listening to music - especially while cooking.

Mr.Imtiaz Lorgat

Imtiaz graduated from Birmingham university in 2008, he completed his vocational training in Coventry before returning to Birmingham to join Birchfield dental practice where he has worked for 15 years.
His work also includes working for various charitable NGO in deprived countries helping to deliver aid to those who need it.
Having grown up local to the practice, Imtiaz has a unique insight in what the community and in particular the patients desire from a dental professional. Birchfield holds a special place for Imtiaz as he carried out his work experience there during his mid-teens.
Outside of dentistry Imtiaz recently completed an 8-year course in Islamic studies which included Arabic grammar, jurisprudence, and creed.
He also enjoys cycling, football and travelling the globe to experience new cultures.
