Dr.Ali Rahmany Nejad

Ali was born in Iran and qualified from Charles Medical University in Prague in 2009 with an MDDR in dentistry. After graduating, he worked as a dentist in Prague before relocating to the UK in 2010 where he worked in the South of England.
In 2012 he moved with his wife and family to East Yorkshire where he worked in an independent practice delivering mainly private dental treatment. In 2018 he joined the team at {my}dentist Holderness Road.
Ali loves to provide cosmetic dentistry where he is able to transform a patient’s smile. He recently completed additional training in short term orthodontics and is now a provider of Clear Correct teeth straightening treatments where teeth are repositioned using clear, removable aligners. In the future Ali is hoping to become trained in placing implants which will enhance his clinical expertise.
In his spare time Ali enjoys football, going to the gymnasium and travelling, that is when he is not volunteering as an emergency medical technician (EMT) with CasCare.

Dr.Georgios Panagiotopoulos

Georgios graduated from the University of Athens, Greece, in 2019 with as Doctor of Dental Surgery. Afterwards, he worked as a general dentist during his mandatory military service at the Hellenic Airforce’s General Hospital in Athens for 9 months. Following his service, he worked for 3 years in two private practices in Athens, providing general dentistry with a special interest in root canal treatments. Besides that, he worked as a pre-clinical assistant at the department of Endodontics in the University of Athens for 2 years. He has presented about endodontics and restorative dentistry in congresses and has attended numerous seminars.
Outside of work, Georgios enjoys playing chess, cooking and playing football.

Dr.Iva Stamatova
Qualified from: DDM Sofia, Bulgaria, 2000

Iva qualified as a Dentist at the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria in 2000. She then continued her studies in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics with a master’s degree in 2005. Iva was also involved in teaching undergraduate students in Plovdiv and progressed to researching in Finland gaining a Doctor in Odontology degree in 2010. After finishing her studies, Iva moved over to the United Kingdom with her family to continue her work in dentistry. Iva provides both NHS and Private dentistry. She enjoys working on minimal invasive treatment such as: Teeth Whitening, Short Term Orthodontics, Invisalign Go and Facial Aesthetics. Iva loves to go out for long walks and also has a passion for reading.

Dr.Paulo Francisco Duarte

Paulo graduated from Lisbon university in 1999 and after some years, developed a passion for implantology. He completed the Dental Implantology course IX and was awarded a diploma by the International Team of Implantology in 2010. Paulo has over 3 years experiencing placing implants in his home country Portugal and moved to the UK in 2013, where he later continued his passion and education. In 2020 he was awarded a PG Diploma in Implantology from Salford University and now has over 11 years experience placing dental implants. Paulo is committed to providing his patients the highest standard of treatment and patient journey. He continues attends courses to upskill and keep up to date with all the latest treatments, technology and guidance. As well as his passion for implants, Paulo developed an interest in composite bonding and attended the SmileFast course in 2021. This has enabled him to offer patients a revolutionary approach to smile makeovers and provide them with maximum aesthetic results through digitally designed composite veneers.

Dr.Renier Hanekom

Renier studied at the University of Pretoria, qualifying with a Bachelor of Dentistry in 1984 and later continued his studies to qualify in Master of Dental Science in Cosmetic Dentistry. Renier started his career as a dentist in South Africa where he extended his experience and knowledge. After working in several dental practices he decided to move over to the United Kingdom where he travelled and settled in East Yorkshire. Renier has experience in both NHS and Private dentistry. He enjoys working on cosmetic treatment, specifically focusing on crowns and bridges. He loves to paint and is a keen photographer and gardener.

Dr.Theodora Aravella Manousi

Theodora qualified as a dentist at the Medical University of Iasi, Romania 2020.
As soon as she graduated, she returned in Greece, her country of origin and worked 2 years as a general dentist in a private clinic in Athens.
She has been voluntarily Professor’s Assistant in the department of Endodontics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens during the year 2021, as she has a special interest in this field.
She has attended numerous dental seminars and workshops, as her goal is continuous personal development in order to provide the best treatment options for her patients.
Theodora pays great attention to detail and always puts patients’ interest first.
She strongly believes that prevention is the best treatment.
Her passion is to create healthy and beautiful smiles.

Miss.Tavisha Kashyap
(Therapist)
Qualified from: BDS Dental Surgery Degree India 2018, 2018

Tavisha graduated with a Bachelor's in Dental Surgery degree (BDS) from India in 2018. After that she practised for a while in India as a Dentist before moving to the UK in March 2021. She completed MSc in Advanced General Dental Practice from University of Ulster in January 2022. Tavisha got registered as a Dental Therapist in November 2021 with the GDC and plans to do therapy work till she can clear her qualifying exams in the UK to work as a Dentist. She has a special interest in smile design and dental aesthetics and would love to pursue it in the future.
Tavisha’s motto: ‘Treating teeth, one at a time’
She loves to treat patients and educate them regarding their oral hygiene. Communication is the key for her as she likes to listen to patients about their dental problems and try to help them to the best of her capacity.
In her spare time, Tavisha likes to paint, watch movies and cook as she finds it therapeutic.

Mr.Sergio Cabeza Pavon (S C Pavon Limited)

Sergio was born in Seville, Spain and qualified as Bachelor of Dental Surgery from his hometown university in 2009. After graduating, he worked as a principal dentist in a dental practice in Seville, before relocating to the UK in January 2011. He has lived and worked in Hull ever since.
He recently completed an MSc in Orthodontics in CEU Madrid, and is also a provider of Clear correct treatments (where teeth are repositioned using clear, Removable aligners). He is also a certified provider for DSD (Digital Smile Design), a technique that allows the professional to show the patient a full picture of what the cosmetic result of any treatment will look like.
Sergio has been an appointed Educational Supervisor for HEYH (Health Education Yorkshire and Humber) since 2015 until 2020, Mentoring recently qualified dentists throughout the years.
His main hobbies are football, cinema and animals, and in spite of his upbringings from Seville (hottest city in Europe), he prefers the milder-colder temperatures we have over here.

Mr.Stephen Hnatyszyn

Dr Stephen Hnatyszyn studied dentistry at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne qualifying with honours. After 10 years in Private and NHS general practice, he became actively involved in Foundation Dental Training and have completed more than 16 years of training newly qualified dentists.
His interest in implantology began in 2009 whilst working with Manchester's maxillofacial surgeons and completed a one-year surgical and restorative PG Certificate in Implantology in 2012. Stephen has now successfully placed and restored over 1000 implants. He focuses on giving patients choice and time to discuss options along with providing high quality dental care.
In his spare time, he has a keen interest in running, golf and walking his dogs.

Dr.Mark Bourn
Qualified from: BDS England, 1998

Mark graduated in 1998 from The University Dental Hospital, Manchester.
After graduating Mark began his dental career at Holderness Road and we are delighted he chose to remain at the practice for the last 21 years. He is the lead clinician in the practice and as such shares his wealth of knowledge and experience to support his colleagues when needed.
Throughout his time at the practice Mark has provided an extremely high level of patient care and empathy to all his patients, many of whom now consider him to be a friend.
Mark is very much a family man and likes to spend his spare time with his wife and children walking in the countryside and taking holidays in Cornwall.
He also likes to cook, using fresh local ingredients to produce dishes some would consider to be worthy of a place on MasterChef although his culinary delights never quite make it as far as the practice!
