Dr.Alexandra Callaghan

Alli Callaghan studied Dental Surgery at the University of Birmingham, qualifying in 2012 with the award for Clinical Excellence.
After completing her dental foundation training in North Yorkshire in 2013 she volunteered in a charity dental mission to the Philippines where she provided dental treatment to local people in much need of dental care and in severe pain.
She spent a year in Australia working as a Dental Officer for the Queensland Government, practicing closely with a Maxillo-Facial trained surgeon.
She enjoys general practice and also offers Invisalign treatment to straighten teeth. The most important aspects of dentistry to her is getting to know her patients and gaining their trust so she can provide the best possible care for them.

Dr.Claire Bugler

In 1996 Dr Bugler moved to Yorkshire where she qualified in dentistry at the University of Leeds in 2001. After completing her vocational training in general practice, she joined a orthodontic practice in 2002. While still having interests in general practice, Dr Bugler's also enjoys and works with orthodontics. She currently works for {my}orthodontist a sister practice treating NHS patients using removable, functional and fixed appliances. Her extensive experience in general practice helps to achieve the best possible results for all of her patients in both settings. In her spare time Dr Bugler enjoys playing tennis, travelling and spending quality time with her husband and two daughters.

Dr.Jaswinder Panesar

Jaswinder graduated at the Dundee Dental School in 1982, after graduation he went on to work as a Dental Associate for 5 years. In 1988 he bought and ran his own dental practice in Halifax as a Principal Partner which he then sold in 2009 and decided to stay on for a further 2 years. In 2011 he worked in the private sector for 3 years.
Joining {my}dentist in 2014, Jaswinder provides both private and NHS treatment, with a special interest and talent in facial aesthetics. He loves to help patients not only improve their smile but frame their smile by providing anti wrinkle injections and fillers which he has been providing for over 15 years.

Dr.Karen Cox

Karen began her dental career in 1997 when she accepted a position as a trainee dental nurse at G.J Nicols & Partners Dental Surgeons (currently {my}dentist Pudsey)
She continued to work as both a dental nurse and oral health educator until she made the decision to train to be a dentist.
Karen qualified in 1999 from Leeds Park Lane College, with the National Certificate for Dental Nurses. She continued to work as a dental nurse in the year 2000 and qualified from the Leeds Dental Institute with a National Oral Health Education Certificate where she was then awarded the Jackson Prize in Paediatrics and the David H Ruckett prize in Oral Surgery.
karen then qualified in 2007 from the University of Leeds with a degree of Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery and returned back to {my}dentist Pudsey to work as a dental practitioner.

Dr.Kazan Tawfiq

Kazan completed her undergraduate training at the university of Leeds with a MChd in dentistry, in 2016. Her foundation training was in Wolverhampton and since then she has been working at {my}dentist. Kazan enjoys practicing general dentistry and treating a wide range of the population. Her interests include, endodontics and oral surgery and on occasion she run kids’ clubs completing check ups for children of all ages on a Saturday.
Prior to dentistry Kazan has a biomedical science degree and her hobbies include Muay Thai and basketball. At {my}dentist Pudsey she has a great team who are very supportive throughout her working day.

Dr.Mohammed Akhtar

Mudassar graduated from the University of Manchester, attaining honours in 3 out of the 5 years he studied there. Alongside this, he won the Edgar Houghton Operative Dentistry Prize for the technically best finals clinical case upon graduating. He ranked in the top 2% of the country during national recruitment and worked in his hometown of Rochdale for his vocational training. After completing his training, he spent the following year working as a core trainee in oral and maxillofacial surgery in five different hospitals expanding his surgical repertoire. In 2017, Mudassar successfully attained the prestigious MFDS qualification from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. His further education has taken him from Harley Street to Germany and he is now in the process of studying for the 'gold standard' Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, ensuring he keeps up to date with the latest technology, evidence and skills necessary to perform implant dentistry to the highest level. He now works in multiple practices carrying out general and cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, intravenous sedation (for nervous patients) and dental implantology.

Miss.Georgina Saul

Georgina moved from her hometown of Sheffield in 2010 to study for her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the Leeds Dental Institute. After qualifying in 2015, she then spent a year completing her NHS foundation training in Horsforth before joining {my}dentist and moving to the Pudsey practice in 2016.Since then Georgina has been working full time at the practice and currently works with nurses Lauren and Chloe seeing a mix of both NHS and private patients. She also works occasional Saturdays seeing children as part of {my}dentist kids clubs initiative.
In her spare time she enjoys yoga and running with the Pudsey Pacers.

Miss.Michelle Hodgson

Michelle has worked at {my}dentist Pudsey since 2008 as a dental nurse, qualifying at Leeds Dental Institute. She enjoys the variety of her job from nursing, reception duties and helping in the decontamination room. To further her career, she has recently completed an implant course and is looking forward to working with our oral surgeon.
Michelle has 2 children and a dog so life is quite busy. In her spare time she loves to exercise, either outdoors or in the gym doing classes, and if there is any time at the end of the day, she tries to catch up with her favourite TV programmes.

Mrs.Emma Norfolk

Emma started her training in 1995 in Crossgates and started studying at the Leeds Dental Institute in 2001, qualifying in 2003 receiving the NVQ Level 3 Oral Health Care and Dental Nursing Independent Assessment City and Guilds.
She moved to Pudsey and started working for {my}dentist in 2005 and enjoys assisting the Dentist and Hygenist during all procedures and making patients feel at ease. Emma is also part of our Reception team, welcoming our patients at each visit.
Emma enjoys socialising with friends and keeping fit by going to the gym and going for long walks with her family and dog Eric.

Mrs.Leah Phillips

Leah has worked at the practice since leaving school in 1992. She had worked full time for many years until leaving to have her 2 children and returning back to work part time. Leah has worked with many dentists over the years and also helps out on reception.
Leah currently works works alongside Alexandra Callaghan and assists with our Invisalign treatments and enjoys seeing patient's end results using clear, removable braces. She has built great relationships with patients and staff alike which is what makes her a valued member of our team.
In her spare time she enjoys family holidays, ghost hunts, nights away and walking her pug Willow.

Mrs.Lorraine Kotovs

Lorraine joined the practice in Pudsey straight after leaving school at 16 years old, she has worked here for over 40 years. She passed her dental nursing exams in 1981 and her job role is to assist Mr Nichols in surgery with his long standing list of loyal patients. Lorraine also regularly helps in our decontamination room ensuring all instruments are sterilised and stored ready for use. She has seen many changes in dentistry throughout her time here, but likes to keep up to date by continually developing her knowledge by completing annual courses and in house training.

Mrs.Louise Baxendale

Louise has happily worked here at {my}dentist Pudsey for over 20 years as a qualified dental nurse. Louise qualified from Park Lane College in Horsforth receiving a Qualification of National Certificate NEBDN 2000. She works alongside Dr Iain Robb to provide great dental care to their longstanding list of patients. Louise has built many great relationships with both colleagues and patients over the years that she has worked at {my}dentist .
She enjoys assisting Dr Robb during root canal treatment and feels fulfilled when a patient is happy with their treatment.
In Louise’s spare time she enjoy’s travelling, horse riding and walking in the Lake District with her husband and family.

Mrs.Melanie Bapty

Mel is a valued member of our team and has worked at the practice for over 25 years since she qualified at Leeds Dental Institute.
Mel started work as a full time dental nurse before having children. She returned to work part time and has taken on extra roles and responsibilities becoming our Head Nurse. She is an important part of the team as she ensures we have correct stock and instruments within the practice aswell as doing surgery checks and staff rota's. She also assists Mr Nichols in surgery part time by seeing and treating our private and denplan patients.
Outside of work, Mel’s kept busy with 2 children, weekends away with family/friends and enjoys long walks with her dogs.

Mrs.Sarah Greaves

Sarah has worked at the practice since 1992 and has enjoyed working with her colleagues and patients. Initially working full time, Sarah now works part time nursing with Dr Claire Bulgar one day a week and on the other two days, she is a key part of the reception team. Sarah feels like she knows a lot of the patients well as some of them have been attending since she first started working here and for that reason she feels she can communicate well with them. Her family and friends are patients here too.

Dr.Iain Robb

Iain studied his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Newcastle university qualifying in 1997 where he then worked at a dental practice in Blyth, Northumberland to complete his foundation dentist year.
Joining {my}dentist Pudsey Dental Practice in 2002, Iain works 5 days a week with his fantastic nurse Louise and prides himself on providing a great quality of care, working with anxious patients throughout their treatment. He has formed great relationships with his patients over the years since joining the team and looks forward to many more years in the practice.
In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and spending time with his family and friends.
