Dr.Petros Kyres

Petros graduated from the University of Athens in 2008. He has worked for many years as a dentist in the private sector in Greece. For 3 years, he served as a Hospital Dental Officer in the Dentistry department of the University Hospital of Heraklion which is one of the biggest hospitals in Greece. During that time he had also been an elected member of the board committee of Heraklion Dental Association. Finally, he has worked as an associate dentist providing both NHS and private dentistry in Spalding, Cleethorpes, Hull and now in Sheffield. He has been awarded an MSc degree in Bioinformatics with distinction and his thesis was a meta-analysis of gene expression data in oral cancer using advanced statistics and machine learning. He knows 6 programming languages and in his free time he does coding.

Simon has mostly worked as a general practitioner within general dentistry since completing his foundation training back in 1990 at the same practice . Simon over the years has also mentored newly qualified dentists throughout their foundation year sharing his experience and expertise. He enjoys looking after the dental health of patients within his local community. He has an interest in short term orthodontics and recently gained a qualification to provide clear aligners. Simon lives in Sheffield with his wife and two sons and enjoys cycling .

Rizwana Shaikh qualified from Liverpool University in 2013. Riz (as she likes to be called) was brought up in Sheffield where her father was a GP. Riz joined {my}dentist in 2017, Riz brings fresh new ideas and has been known to work with our more anxious patients. She enjoys taking her time and thoroughly explaining the options with her patients taking every step at the patient’s pace. Rizwana is enthusiastic to learn new skills and further her expertise and education in general dentistry. Riz is also a mentor at the practice, her interest in aesthetics further developed recently when she trained in facial aesthetics from The London School of Facial Aesthetics. She is now able to offer a wide variety of facial aesthetic procedures including anti-ageing treatments.

Miss.Tin Wai Ip

Dr. Ip, Tin-Wai, originally from Canada, moved to Sheffield in 2010. Graduating in 2016, she obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sheffield. Tin enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is enthusiastic about promoting a preventative approach to dental care.
Following her belief in giving back to the community, she has provided for the dental needs of school children with "Teeth Team UK", "DentAid" and participated in voluntary dental missions to serve high needs children overseas in Vietnam with "East Meets West."
She is committed to providing the best dental care possible to her patients and is enrolled in courses to provide short-term adult orthodontics and flexible dentures.
Tin is currently a member of the British Dental Association and Dental Protection. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with her main coon cat.

Vincent qualified as a dental hygienist therapist in 2020 from the University of Leeds and has been working at {my}dentist since. He is very passionate about providing one to one advice on prevention and improving oral health. Treatments carried out include scale and polishes and in-depth gum disease treatment to help prevent tooth loss he also carries out Dental Therapy on a referral from the clinicians in practice. He is also happy to see patients which would like that one off clean to maintain there oral hygiene in-between there normal dental examinations .Outside of work Vincent enjoys spending time with his wife and children, travelling.

Roopal Parmar studied at Sheffield university in 2005. where she now lives with her husband and two children, whilst providing dental treatments to the Sheffield and Kelham Island area. She was raised in Leeds with her parents and joined {my}dentist in 2011. Roopal is passionate about delivering and providing the highest quality of treatment and patient care and has experience in all aspects of general dentistry including treatments like teeth whitening, dentures and composite bonding. Roopal has also developed her skills to offer private treatments in Clear Correct in addition to the dental aligner options she can offer, Roopal always ensures she has happy patients who have a confident smile. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband and two children, travelling at every opportunity possible.
