Welcome to {my}dentist Shalesmoor. We are a friendly 4-surgery practice in the Kelham island area of Sheffield. You can find us located just off the roundabout that connects Shalesmoor and Penistone road, with disabled access available. For those needing public transport we are a short walk from Penistone road tram and bus stops. We have 6 clinicians on hand providing a variety of NHS & Private treatments including our affordable private scheme {my}options. Some of the treatments we provide include Teeth straightening using clear braces (Invisalign & ClearCorrect), Facial aesthetics, Teeth whitening (Enlighten & Phillips zoom), Composite bonding & Hygiene.     Dr.Jessica Naik Qualified from: BDS UK, 2014 GDC No: 252681 Jessica graduated from leeds University with a bachelor’s degree in 2014, Jessica realised her dream of becoming a dentist following her mothers footsteps . Jessica has mostly worked as a general practitioner within the Private dentistry in Sheffield . She enjoys looking after the dental health of patients within her local community. She has an interest in smile makeovers and offers a range of treatment such as orthodontic and cosmetic work to help achieve that natural smile. Jessica lives in Sheffield with her partner and son and their lively German Sheppard

    Rizwana Shaikh qualified from Liverpool University in 2013. Riz (as she likes to be called) was brought up in Sheffield where her father was a GP. Riz joined {my}dentist in 2017, Riz brings fresh new ideas and has been known to work with our more anxious patients. She enjoys taking her time and thoroughly explaining the options with her patients taking every step at the patient’s pace. Rizwana is enthusiastic to learn new skills and further her expertise and education in general dentistry. Riz is also a mentor at the practice, her interest in aesthetics further developed recently when she trained in facial aesthetics from The London School of Facial Aesthetics. She is now able to offer a wide variety of facial aesthetic procedures including anti-ageing treatments.
  • Miss.Tin Wai Ip Qualified from: BDS Sheff 2016 England, 2016 GDC No: 268168
    Dr. Ip, Tin-Wai, originally from Canada, moved to Sheffield in 2010. Graduating in 2016, she obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sheffield. Tin enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is enthusiastic about promoting a preventative approach to dental care. Following her belief in giving back to the community, she has provided for the dental needs of school children with "Teeth Team UK", "DentAid" and participated in voluntary dental missions to serve high needs children overseas in Vietnam with "East Meets West." She is committed to providing the best dental care possible to her patients and is enrolled in courses to provide short-term adult orthodontics and flexible dentures. Tin is currently a member of the British Dental Association and Dental Protection. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with her main coon cat.
  • mr.Vincent Nhamo Nhemachena (Hygienist) Qualified from: Dental Hygienist Dental Nurse Dental Therapist England , 2020 GDC No: 160119
    Vincent qualified as a dental hygienist therapist in 2020 from the University of Leeds and has been working at {my}dentist since. He is very passionate about providing one to one advice on prevention and improving oral health. Treatments carried out include scale and polishes and in-depth gum disease treatment to help prevent tooth loss he also carries out Dental Therapy on a referral from the clinicians in practice. He is also happy to see patients which would like that one off clean to maintain there oral hygiene in-between there normal dental examinations .Outside of work Vincent enjoys spending time with his wife and children, travelling.
  • Mrs .Roopal Parmar Qualified from: BDS Sheff, 2005 GDC No: 85642
    Roopal Parmar studied at Sheffield university in 2005 where she now lives with her husband and two children. Roopal as a little girl a was brought up in Leeds with her parents Roopal Parmar joined {my}dentist at shalesmoor in 2011 Roopal is passionate about delivering and providing the highest quality of treatment and patient care and has experience in all aspects of general dentistry. Roopal has also developed her skills to offer private treatments in Clear Correct, tooth whitening, Roopal aims to ensure she has happy patients who have a confident smile. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her husband and two children and travelling
