  Dr.Anastasia Panteri Qualified from: DipDS Thessaloniki , Greece, 2021 GDC No: 303125
  Anastasia was originally born in Greece, but moved to Thessaloniki to complete her studies in Dentistry. Over the next 12 months, she went on to work in various different practices in Greece. Anastasia also volunteered in the Greek Army where she dealt with a variety of dental cases. Anastasia works for {my}dentist in Hindley practicing general dentistry with a special interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment). She has participated in seminars and courses regarding different aspects of dentistry and presented at several Greek dental conferences. In the future, she would like to expand her knowledge in both aesthetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. When Anastasia is not practicing Dentistry she likes to swim and do arts.

  Dr.Cristian Ladus Qualified from: DMD Universitatea "Dunarea de Jos" din Gala?i, 2020 GDC No: 302595
  Dr. Cristian Ladus grew up in Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece. He attended the Medical university of Galati in Romania and graduated as a dentist in 2020. After he graduated he returned in Greece and served as a General dentist in a Military Hospital for 9 months in the Greek military Forces which offered him a good set of dental skill sets and experience. Looking to expand his knowledge and his career, he moved to the UK in 2022 and joined the {my}dentist Practice in York where he has been practising NHS and private dentistry ever since. Cristian works in a calm manner making patients feel as comfortable as possible overcoming fears about dental treatment. He puts a lot of focus in preventive dentistry and is committed in offering high standard treatment options always ensuring the patients best interest and oral health. Outside of work Cristian enjoys travelling, spending time in the gym, reading books and spending time with his loved ones.

  Dr.Divyesh Sonigra Qualified from: BDS UK, 2017 GDC No: 271818
  Divyesh qualified from Cardiff University in 2017 and has since worked in an oral and maxillofacial surgery. Having successfully completed his core training and 2 clinical fellow years, he now works as a Specialty Dentist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Amongst practicing general dentistry, his skills in oral surgery help patients through treatments such as complex extractions and wisdom tooth removals. He takes a thorough, calming and empathetic approach which keeps patients at ease. Outside of work, Divyesh enjoys football, long walks with his Bernese Mountain Dog and travelling. You can often see him in the practice with a colourful scrub cap.

  Dr.Evangelos Raftopoulos Qualified from: DDM Medical Sofia, 2022 GDC No: 306413
  Evangelos studied dentistry at the medical university of Sofia where he graduated in 2022. After graduating, Evangelos worked in Greece for a few months and joined the {my}dentist York practice in September 2023 where he fitted in with the team instantly. Evangelos enjoys providing a wide range of treatment with a particular interest in prosthetic and restorative dentistry and is working with his mentor to enhance his skills constantly for his patients and give them the best treatment. Outside of work, Evangelos enjoys football, going to the gym and spending time with friends and loved ones exploring York and all the new experiences it has to offer.

  Dr.Guillermo Dominguez (Dental Implant Surgeon) Qualified from: Lic O Dent Madrid,Spain, 2008 GDC No: 164180
  Guillermo studied dentistry at the European University of Madrid, qualifying in 2008. Guillermo´s interest in implantology began in 2009 when he completed Nobel Biocare's one year course in dental implantology at Cambridge University. In 2010, he then went on to achieve a Diploma of Restorative Dentistry at Leeds University. Furthering his career In Madrid in 2011- 2012 Guillermo completed a Certificate in Dental Implantology. In 2013 Guillermo completed a 2 years full time Masters in Advanced Oral Implantology at the European University of Madrid, Spain This involved two periods of training at the NYU University, New York, EE. UU. Guillermo is now focused in dental implantology and aesthetic dentistry, from simple to more complex cases of full mouth rehabilitations. For treatment planning, Guillermo uses the “Digital Smile Design” protocol in all his aesthetic treatments. Designing new smiles by computer gives him the ability to show patients a “mock up” prior to starting any treatment. Guillermo likes to be known as William and welcomes referrals from local clinicians.

  Dr.Joanna Mazurkiewicz Qualified from: Lek Stom Lodz Poland, 2003 GDC No: 189098
  Joanna graduated from Medical University of Lodz, Poland in 2003. She joined our Practice in 2010 and since than she enjoys the variety of general dentistry that it brings, with more focus on endodontic therapy. She also completed a course in Clear Correct that allows her to use clear aligners for straightening our patient’s front teeth. Joanna has a fantastic repour with her patients with many saying they appreciate her professional mannerism. Joanna puts all her patients at ease with her calming personality and softly spoken voice. Joanna is fluent in English, Polish and German. Outside of work Joanna enjoys spending time with her family, loves cycling, swimming and volleyball. She is also a committed cat lover

  Dr.Joshua Goh Qualified from: BDS United Kingdom, 2020 GDC No: 290734
  Joshua, who is originally from Singapore, graduated with BDS from Queen Mary University of London 2020 and then went on to do his foundation year as a GDP in Essex, helping with all things general dentistry for the patients of Essex. Joshua then went on to do post grad dental core training in Max Fax where he was based in Norwich and Restorative where he was based in Aberdeen. Joshua joined the York team after relocating to Yorkshire in the end of 2023 and has really hit the ground running with patients here in York. Outside of work Joshua is a keen cook and loves to explore all that York has to offer after being new to the area.

  Dr.Katarzyna Astbury Qualified from: Lek Stom Lodz Poland, 2001 GDC No: 84252
  Katarzyna qualified as a Dentist in 2001 after studying at the Medical University Lodz, Poland. She holds an Msc in Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Manchester as well as having taken an endodontic course. Katarzyna joined Aldwark Dental Practice in 2005 and her positive, friendly approach makes her popular with her patients. She is especially good with nervous patients and is committed to making sure that each patient receives the highest level of care. She speaks fluent English and Polish. Outside of work Katarzyna’s passion is running, in particular marathon training and raising money for Cancer Research UK.

  As a dentist Khushboo's core motivation is the everyday challenge of delivering high quality therapy adapted to individual’s needs of various types of characters and personalities coming into the Clinic, and the sense of accomplishment in doing so when noticing the positive impact of the end results on my patients. Khushboo likes the challenge of putting anxious patients at ease and to see their confidence build up as they overcome their fear over the course of a few appointments. It is truly rewarding for her. Khushboo' passion does lie with cosmetic dentistry and directly improving ones visible smile. Following this dream Khushboo pursued her masters in Aesthetics Dentistry from New York University, NYC.   Mayoling graduated from The Central University of Venezuela before taking her Dentist ORE exam in 2008 in London. Mayoling is a highly skilled dentist who ran her own practice in Venezuela before settling here in the UK. She is very knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry and has a passion for learning, including a keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Mayloling's warm and caring nature instantly puts patients of all ages at ease. She enjoys treating children and has a special way with nervous patients. Her commitment to outstanding levels of patient care shine through consistently in her patient interactions. Dr. Nad really has quite the background with a comprehensive education in dentistry over in Iran. After training, he went onto spend a further 12 years working as a cosmetic and implant-focused dentist. He is an international speaker for SynTrain International Academy. This is where he truly found his passion for surgical treatments. After a solid education and mentorship from some of the leading maxillofacial surgeons and periodontists, complex surgical extractions and implantology are where Dr. Nad found his passion the most, and he does these with ease, making his patients feel comfortable throughout. Helping anxious patients feel relaxed during their dental visits is vital for any dentist, but Dr. Nad has perfected this. Just by putting on a warm smile and listening to them allows patients to feel far more at ease around him. He has spent his life working hard to become a dentist, but he found that he needed to work even harder to live and work in the UK, where he moved to in 2017.

  Dr Risha Hussain Peace graduated with Honours in 2008. She is a well known cosmetic dentist and an experienced aesthetic doctor and trainer. She has completed various post graduate qualifications in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. She is a leading Invisalign provider (clear braces) and an expert on composite bonding to create bespoke smiles. She has a special interest in facial aesthetics and rejuvenation. She owned a cosmetic clinic in London for many years offering smile makeovers and non surgical face lift treatments. Risha’s open and easy manner has made her popular among her patients. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her young family and doing outdoor activities.

  Rosie graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Newcastle in 2017. Since qualifying as a dentist she has spent 3 years working near Newcastle and moved to work in York in 2020. During that time, she passed the Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery exams allowing her to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. As a clear aligner teeth straightening provider, she enjoys improving patient’s smiles and restoring their confidence in attending the dentist as her calm and patient manner really helps anxious patients. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her Cocker Spaniels Poppy and Ozzy, playing the piano, yoga and running.

  Mr.Aristarchos Zinonos Qualified from: DipDS Greece, 2012 GDC No: 303230
  After the end of his military service in Cyprus, Aris moved to Greece to study dentistry. He graduated from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2012. Having had his own Dental Practice on the outskirts of Thessaloniki for almost a decade, Aris gained extensive experience in general dentistry. In 2022 he successfully completed his Masters in Oral Surgery at Leeds Dental Institute. Somehow, he fell in love with Yorkshire and the city of Leeds and decided to come and work in the UK. Following his moto “ever to excel”, Aris’ goal is to provide his patients with high-quality dental services to improve their well-being. With a special interest in Oral Surgery, Aris deals with complex cases of dental extractions, apicoectomies and cyst removal as well as, surgical removal of third molars and is happy to accept referrals from local practices and directly from patients. Passionate about dentistry, Aris, with continuous education stays up to date with the latest developments in the field. Outside work he enjoys hiking, basketball and travelling.

  Richard Fortune is our Clinical Dental Technician, over his 30 year career Richard has gained a loyal patient base both at his laboratory at his home and at the practices he works at in the York area. Richard makes a variety of different dentures for his patients ranging from standard acrylic to flexible dentures to work with the patient needs. Richard works a Friday and offers new patients consultations to listen and work with the patient to create the smile they have always wanted. Richard is a favourite amongst our patients and is often spoke of fondly. When he is not working here and at home Richard enjoys walking with his 10 dogs and spending time with his wife and 3 daughters.

  Mrs.Purna Patel (Therapist) Qualified from: Dentist Act India, 1984 GDC No: 284662
  Purna joined the practice in 2021 as our Dental Hygienist. She trained as a Dentist and qualified in 2004 in India before coming to the UK in 2006. Purna is calm and very caring which is highly appreciated by the patients and our team. Purna has special interest in periodontal diseases and provides personalised advice to motivate her clients to maintain good oral health. She is meticulous at her hygiene work and always aims to give you a lovely fresh clean. Purna is a private dental hygienist here at {my}dentist York and works to aid our patients on our Saturday clinic. When not at work, Purna enjoys family time with her teenage son and her husband, along with cultural activities.

  Ms.Kanwal Ansari (Therapist) Qualified from: Registered under s36C of the Dentists Act 1984 2021 United Kingdon, 2021 GDC No: 297625
  Kanwal graduated in Pakistan in 2014 and has been associated with {my}dentist since 2023. In her role as a dental therapist, she performs tooth scaling and polishing, periodontal (gum) disease treatment, tooth whitening under prescription, cosmetic stain removal, periodontal (gum) disease treatment and tooth fillings for both adults and children. Preventing oral disease is her passion, and she always makes sure to educate her patients on the importance of oral hygiene, giving them top tips on how to maintain healthy gums. Kanwal always strives to give patients a comfortable experience along with top-quality care. She is well-trained in managing patient anxiety and management of patients with special treatment needs. Outside of work, Kanwal is a mum of two and enjoys spending time with family, be it at home or when they are out and about. Cooking is her forte and she spends her days off trying out new recipes and sometimes creating her own.

  Nicole Pearcy graduated from Leeds University in 2007 with a diploma as a dental hygienist and dental therapist. Nicole has worked within the {my}dentist York team for a while now and has a great relationship with her colleagues and the patients she treats. Nicole provides patients with informative and caring advice towards their oral health. She likes to have a relaxing environment to help patients feel at ease and help nervous patients overcome some of their anxieties that are associated with visiting the dental practice. In her spare time she has a German shorthaired pointer which keeps her busy exploring York and the surrounding areas and enjoys gardening.

  Eleni was born in Athens and graduated from Athens University in 2003. Eleni moved to the UK in 2005 and started practicing in York city centre. In late 2023 Eleni joined the {my}dentist York team and brought her sense of humour with her to our team. Many of our nurses and patients know Eleni from around York and she is settling in well within the team. In her spare time Eleni, enjoys films, music , plays guitar and likes drawing and the occasional hike in the countryside. Eleni brings to the team general dentistry with a wealth of knowledge she has gained over the years of practicing.
