Daniel Graduated from the University of Manchester in 2006. He has worked at {my}dentist Chorley since 2007. Since graduating from university he has been passionate about continually furthering his knowledge and skills. Daniel completed a 2 year post graduate course in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010 and more recently completed a course for restoring implants. He has a caring and patient centered approach to his dentistry and enjoys tooth wear cases and minimally invasive ways to improve smiles for people unhappy with the appearance of their teeth. Daniel is an approved ClearCorrect provider (teeth straightening with clear braces as an alternative to Invisalign) for adults who wish to improve their smile through short term braces. Out of work he enjoys gardening, spending time with his 2 children and taking time off travelling in his VW campervan. Daniel has also been involved charity work for Bridge2Aid and travelled to Tanzania to educate and help the local people.Daniels longstanding and experienced dental Nurse Roisin, will help you feel at ease whilst at the practice and can assist with helping you through treatment from start through to finish.

Gill graduated from Liverpool University Dental School in 2013. During her time at Dental School she was part of the committee through which she ran the school magazine. In this role she also took part in multiple charity events including the race for life, bake sales and fashion shows. Gill was also part of organising dental school events including the annual ball. Gill spent her dental foundation training year under the North Manchester scheme at a dental practice in Bolton. During this time she completed a short term orthodontic course (teeth straightening) and now offers this treatment to her patients. After joining {my}dentist Chorley in 2015 Gill has gone on to complete further training in clear braces orthodontics with ClearCorrect (an alternative to Invisalign), mini smile makeovers and semi flexible dentures and now offers these treatment to her patients completing multiple cases using the Align, Bleach and Contour ‘ABC’ approach. She offers a range of cosmetic dental treatments with the addition of whitening and composite bonding.Outside of work she enjoys travel, amateur photography and spending time with friends and family. Mariya Uzunova-Todorova GDP

Mariya graduated in 1992 at the Dental University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Three years later she gained a speciality of General dentistry from the Medical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Following from this Mariya then worked for 5 years as a Dentist in the Bulgarian Army, followed by a further 10 years working in an emergency dental center, before moving to the UK.Mariya moved to the UK in 2008, starting her British career in a dental practice in Leyland where she stayed for 5 years. She has lived in the local area where she is very happy and enjoys spending her spare time with her family.Mariya has now been with our practice at Dole Lane since. She provides both NHS and Private dental care, and has an interested in prosthetic treatments, involving the provision of semi flexible dentures.

Ruth Balhatchet GDP

Ruth graduated from Newcastle University in 2004 and has now been practicing dentistry for coming up to two decades. She started her career working in Hampshire and then in 2009 moved up to Lancashire where she married and had three boys. She is keen to keep developing her skills and in 2017 embarked on a Masters course at UCLan in Prosthodontics (restoring teeth) which she completed with distinction in June 2020. Ruth has special interest in preventative and cosmetic dentistry including ClearCorrect (clear braces/teeth straightening and an alternative to Invisalign), composite bonding and whitening treatments. Ruth would describe herself as a caring and ethical dentist who is passionate about helping patients to feel at ease, to be in control of their dental journeys, and to love their smiles.

Greta graduated in 2015 at the University of Applied Sciences, Lithuania. While studying Greta was working as a dental nurse in private practices with specialists in Endodontics, Prosthetics, Cosmetic dentistry and Periodontology. After graduation she worked on a side of special interest in Periodontology providing non-surgical gum disease treatments, gum disease maintenance, airflow treatments and teeth whitening.Greta worked at multiple NHS and Private Dentistry practices in London as a hygienist before moving to Lancashire and joining {my}dentist Chorley as a hygienist. She enjoys periodontology and treating gum disease, expanding her knowledge in various workshops and courses.She praises the importance of patients understanding about healthy gums and gum disease, providing clear personal oral hygiene instructions.
