Dr Ana Pais graduated from Oporto University, Portugal, in 2018. After completing a year of private dental practice in Portugal she joined the {my}dentist group in 2019. She is passionate about dentistry, with special interest in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, and keen on ensuring anxious patients have a positive dental experience and feel more relaxed attending for their future appointments. Dr Pais is continually developing her skills by taking postgraduate qualifications; this includes a current Postgraduate Course in Orthodontics and Invisalign GO, as well as training in Facial Aesthetics. This will aid Dr Pais in being able to improve patients smiles and confidence.

Maria studied and qualified as a dentist in Quezon city, Philippines. She then moved to Spain, where she continued practising dentistry before finally settling in Bristol in November 2003. She has been at Wells Road Dental Centre since 2004, where she is a well-established member of the team. Since qualifying, Maria has completed various post-graduate studies such as a BUOLD course in Prosthetic Dentistry and POS (Progressive Orthodontic Seminars.) She has a keen interest in the field of cosmetic dentistry and enjoys doing composite veneers to improve patients’ smiles. Outside of the dental surgery, Maria has a passion for food and loves to cook delicious food that is influenced by her background and travels. Her creativeness doesn’t stop at food, she often spends her spare time creating and making things such as soaps and lip balms and she also enjoys crocheting.

Rita Bongiovanni GDP

Rita trained and qualified as a dentist in Messina, Italy in 2013.Rita then moved to Milan, where she developed her interest in paediatric dentistry and orthodontics. During those years, she attended inhalation sedation courses and two postgraduate graduates in orthodontics.Rita moved to Bristol in November 2019 and she started working under her mentorship in our company in Weston-Super-Mare, now been settled here in Bristol since March 2022.Rita has an enthusiastic interest in aesthetic dentistry that made her begin a postgraduate course in order to make her patients happy with composite bonding. She is also gaining the certification for the clear aligners to continue to improve all her patient's smile.During her spare time, she enjoys roller skating, travelling to discover new cultures and baking her Sicilian recipes for her neighbours to taste.

Sophie Baker Hygienist

Sophie graduated her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the University of Birmingham in 2020, gaining invaluable experience treating a rich variety of patients within a community, hospital and general practice setting.Since graduating, Sophie is always looking to extend her knowledge including the undertaking of a wide range of CPD courses including Guided Biofilm Therapy aiding in her treatment of periodontal patients. In addition, Sophie is passionate about promoting good oral health for children and adults alike, she is especially committed to helping people prevent and treat gum disease. Sophie excels at understanding the needs of nervous patients and takes great pride in aiding the transformation of smiles of people who haven't been to a dental practice in a long time. Sophie's patient and kind approach brings patients immediately at ease. Sophie's dental ambition began when she volunteered in Kenya teaching, building schools and providing medical support, Sophie discovered how poor the oral hygiene was within the Alara region causing children to suffer tremendous pain and decided to undertake her degree to eventually go back to help in providing a solution for this issue!
