Dr Deana is passionate about levelling her patients’ teeth, she graduated in 2004 and delved into a career as a dentist. Although she enjoyed the profession for a full ten years, Deana strived to further her career in this field. She started her second passion in dentistry and studied a Postgraduate in Orthodontics. After achieving her MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeon of England in 2014, she pursued further education and began a Master’s Degree at Warwick University. Deana has been practicing Orthodontics since then. Deana has gained significant experience in the past 8 years and offers traditional fixed brace appliances and clear aligners.“My best moments are when I see the big smile drawn on my patients’ faces, the confidence they gain throughout their journey with braces and the gratefulness they show me toward the quality of work received is beyond description. I count the past 8 years of experience in Orthodontics as the best years in my career. I have gained knowledge and skills that made me confident to help my patients and provide the best quality of care.”

Spoorthy Mallikarjuna Orthodontist

Dr Spoorthy Mallikarjuna graduated in dentistry in 2009 from JSS Dental College in India, working as a general dentist before embarking on a Masters in Orthodontics and Dental facial Orthopaedics, completing this in 2013. During her masters, she received an award for her case report on Function and Esthetic Rehabilitation of cleft lip and palate clinical paper.She also has experience as a dental educator and teacher and has also worked as a consultant orthodontist in India before moving to the UK. Since coming to the UK, she has completed equivalent exams and has been enjoying treating patients with fixed braces and clear aligners for teenagers and adults, Dr Spoorthy is now an accredited Invisalign Platinum Elite provider and continues to keep up to date with the advances in orthodontics by completing CPD. Designing smiles and keeping her patients smiling is what keeps her motivated.

Eve-Marie Stibr Orthodontic Therapist

Eve-Marie Stibr started her dental career at our practice in 2003. Eve-Marie completed her Dental nursing course at our practice and then went on to gain her BDA Dental Radiography qualification in 2009. Eve-Marie has a real interest in Orthodontics and completed her Orthodontic Therapy Diploma at The Bristol Dental University and sat her exam at the Royal College of Edinburgh in 2010. Eve-Marie is a long standing staff member and because of this is able to form brilliant relationships with all patients that come to the practice. Eve-Marie is a valued member of our team at West Bridgford.

Melissa Evans started her dental career with us in 2010, she completed her NEBDN Dental nursing course in 2012 and then went on to complete her BDA radiography and impression taking courses in 2014. Melissa had a keen interest in orthodontics so completed her orthodontic nursing course in 2016. Melissa enjoys working in this part of dentistry so then went on to complete her orthodontic therapy course at the CMFT Manchester Dental university and sat her exam at the Royal College of Edinburgh in 2018. Melissa is a real people person and enjoys seeing a patient’s journey through out the treatment, especially nervous patient who she takes great care in helping them have a positive experience. Melissa is a valued member of our team at West Bridgford.
