Kris graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1997 after winning several undergraduate prizes. He has experience working as a general practitioner and also worked at Birmingham children’s hospital as part of the Maxillo- Facial team. During this time he obtained, via examination, membership in the faculty of general dental practitioners (Royal College of Surgeons London) and a membership in the faculty of dental surgeons (Royal College of Surgeons Ireland). In 2002 Kris entered 3 years of full time formal training culminating in examination at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh to become a Specialist Orthodontist. Kris was successful in obtaining his membership in Orthodontics and was also awarded a master’s degree. This provides the recognition that he has followed the highest standard of training possible in Orthodontics in the UK. Kris was awarded a Fellowship in Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Kris will strive to do the best for his patients, offering both comprehensive and short term orthodontics, Kris can offer a wide variety of Orthodontic treatments including both fixed and aligner options.

Ellis Gillham Orthodontic Therapist

Ellis has been working with us at Bristol Orthodontics, since September 2024. She qualified with a diploma in Orthodontic Therapy RCS Edinburgh in 2023. Ellis was previously a dental nurse since 2014 and completed additional Qualifications in radiography, impressions and has extended her knowledge in restorative dentistry and implantology.She is looking forward to extending her knowledge further by keeping up with the latest tips and tricks within Orthodontics.In her free time, Ellis enjoys renovating her first home and spending time her rescued puppy Ziggy. She also loves travelling around the UK in her campervan exploring all things wild.

Jo began working in the dental industry in 2007, and soon developed a keen interest in orthodontics after working in both general and orthodontic practices. Jo then progressed to study Orthodontic Therapy at The University of Central Lancaster, qualifying as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2013. Since qualifying Jo has worked in a few different orthodontic practices, helping her gain deeper knowledge and experiences in all aspects of orthodontics, whilst treating a variety of patients. Jo also works closely alongside our Specialist Orthodontist Dr Llewellyn, working together to achieve the best possible results. She enjoys seeing the transformations in her patient’s smiles.
