Amy graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2019 and joined the {my}dentist team after completing her VT year locally. Since graduating Amy’s primary focus has been to provide a full range of high quality general dentistry to her patients. Recently she has completed various courses in composite bonding- a minimally invasive treatment which can greatly improve patients smiles without damage to the natural tooth structure.Outside of work Amy loves to cook, travel and go to the gym- outside of the surgery you’ll likely find her on a beach in Donegal.The next thing in the pipeline is an Invisalign course for Amy- a discreet way of moving teeth with clear braces and is often coupled with other cosmetic treatments such as whitening and bonding for full smile makeovers.

Caoimhe Crossan GDP

Caoimhe graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2009 with a distinction in prosthetics. She then went on to complete her VT year in Glasgow, where she stayed for an additional twelve years. Caoimhe enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but particularly enjoys doing crown and bridgework. She has gained additional qualifications in teeth straightening with Cfast (2014) and Invisalign (2020). Caoimhe recently completed a foundation training course in facial aesthetics in 2022 with a further course in chemical peels & micro-needling. Outside of work, Caoimhe enjoys walks on the beach with her dog and spending time with her friends and family. She joined the {my}dentist team at Foyle in December 2022.

Ciara Dorrian GDP

Ciara Dorrian graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in July 2012 with several distinctions. Ciara thoroughly enjoyed her five years training in Belfast but also looked forward to coming back to her hometown where she completed her dental foundation training year locally. Following this, Ciara then applied for an associate dentist position at Foyle Dental Spa, now known as {my}dentist Foyle in August 2013. She has been happily working there now for over ten years. In this time she has built up great working relationships with the staff and has built a healthy patient list and an excellent rapport with her patients. Ciara is very settled in Derry and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, in particular restorative dentistry and she looks forward to developing her training and expertise in this field in the near future. Outside of work Ciara loves to spend time with her young family.

Julie McCrea GDP

Julie graduated from the University of Dundee in 2005. After graduation Julie began working in Omagh, Co Tyrone. Over the next 12 years Julie worked hard to improve both her communication and clinical skills. Julie also spent time furthering her education on several courses and achieved a postgraduate diploma in dental studies from the University of Bristol with a masters in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and with merit from the University of Manchester. Julies aim was to improve her knowledge and skills in modern restorative techniques. Julie is focused on encouraging and creating a relaxed family friendly environment where all patients feel comfortable expressing their dental desires and receiving good quality dental care.

Kayla Browne GDP

Kayla graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2012. Since then she has completed VT training in Derry and has continued to work locally. Kayla has worked in {my}dentist Foyle since 2012 and thoroughly enjoys working in this practice. Kayla's aim is to put her patients at ease and make them feel comfortable and welcome in the dental practice. With a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry, she strives to provide the best quality of dental treatments and enjoys the day to day procedures. Kayla is particularly interested in aesthetic dentistry and has qualified in short term orthodontics; she has also completed training in Facial Aesthetics & Cryotherapy. She really enjoys doing composite fillings and changing smiles with this minimally invasive procedure. Kayla hopes to complete some new restorative courses soon to develop new techniques to provide here at {my}dentist Foyle.

Samantha Morrison Hygienist

Samantha joined the team in 2013 and has developed a good relationship with all our dentists. She qualified as a dental hygienist in June 2011 from Queens University. Before this Samantha was a qualified dental nurse in both private and NHS community dentistry. She is very passionate in trying to help our patients to achieve healthy teeth and gums. Samantha achieves this by educating patients in a relaxed environment and by building trust between her and her patients..Samanthas main area of expertise is cosmetic stain removal along with whitening which she really enjoys. Using our airflow system she can remove the most stubborn stains caused by smoking, tea/coffee and red wine, giving patients a beautiful white smile again.
