After finishing my graduation from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2017, I worked there as a post-graduate trainee in a hospital setting and as a general dentist in private practice for about 2 years. I started my MClinDent (Masters of Clinical Dentistry) in Endodontics in Cardiff University in 2019. During my 3 year-long post-graduate training, I got to work on complex endodontic cases and developed my patient portfolio. In addition, I possess the diploma of M.Endo (membership in Endodontics) under RCS Ed (Royal College Surgeons of Edinburgh). I worked in Torbay and South Devon NHS trust hospital setting in Uk which included emergency on-call cases and surgical aspects of dentistry; from this experience I can relate to the significance of a good endodontic solution even more. I genuinely believe trying to save teeth with endodontics treatments (Root canal treatment, root canal re-treatments, Peri-radicular surgeries) can enhance the quality of patients life. My principle is to try to deliver the highest quality endodontic treatments to my patients as per my ability and help them restore teeth.Outside work, my hobbies are mostly exploring music, painting, travelling and strength training whenever I get time.

After qualifying from the University of Bristol in 2010, I completed further postgraduate training, first joining the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012, then obtaining a Masters degree in Dental Implantology in 2016. I regularly attend implant-related courses to learn new advanced techniques, and I now commit a large amount of my clinical time solely for dental implant treatment.I have always believed that it is a great privilege to be able to help patients with their problems. It’s why, throughout my career, I have been so passionate about dental implants. I genuinely believe that dental implants can replace missing teeth to enhance a person’s quality of life: their self-confidence, their smile, their ability to chew and speak in comfort. At the core of my treatment philosophy is the belief that my patients deserve high quality care that should be delivered in a kind and gentle manner. I look forward to meeting patients.In my personal life I enjoy spending time and travelling with my wife and 4 boys. When time allows, I enjoy playing cricket and other outdoor sports, as well as training for my black belt in Jujitsu.

Eric graduated from the University of Dundee, Scotland in 2019 and went on to carry out his Dental Foundation Training in Norwich, England the following year. He joined {my}dentist Wells Road in October 2020 as a general dental practitioner, where he has become an integral member of the team. Since graduating, he has further developed his skills by attending several post graduate courses in order to be better able to provide patients with the best care. Eric has a keen interest particularly in cosmetic dentistry such as teeth whitening, and teeth straightening and offers ClearCorrect clear aligners in the practice. Outside of the dental practice, Eric enjoys playing competitive badminton and loves to travel.

Kalliopi, known as Popi, trained and qualified as a dentist in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 2000. She then returned to her native Athens, Greece, establishing herself in general practice by working in two dental practices there. Popi moved to the U.K. in 2005 and started working at what eventually became {my}dentist Bristol Wells Road in November of that year. Popi is a well-established member of our team and sees generations of patients from the same families! In her spare time, when she is not spending time with her young daughter, Popi is an avid runner and loves to spend time running routes all around Bristol.

Maria studied and qualified as a dentist in Quezon city, Philippines. She then moved to Spain, where she continued practising dentistry before finally settling in Bristol in November 2003. She has been at Wells Road Dental Centre since 2004, where she is a well-established member of the team. Since qualifying, Maria has completed various post-graduate studies such as a BUOLD course in Prosthetic Dentistry and POS (Progressive Orthodontic Seminars.) She has a keen interest in the field of cosmetic dentistry and enjoys doing composite veneers to improve patients’ smiles. Outside of the dental surgery, Maria has a passion for food and loves to cook delicious food that is influenced by her background and travels. Her creativeness doesn’t stop at food, she often spends her spare time creating and making things such as soaps and lip balms and she also enjoys crocheting.

Mark qualified from Bristol in 1996 and following a year in St Ives, Cornwall, returned to Bristol and joined one of our sister practices in East Street, Bedminster. He has been working in the Wells Road Dental Centre since 2001. Since qualifying, Mark has done various post-graduate studies including a BUOLD course in communication at Bristol University. Mark has a special interest in the area of extractions and oral surgery and other dentists regularly refer patients to him for more complex cases. Mark lives in Bristol with his wife, four children and is an avid reader and gamer in his spare time.

Ming graduated from Cardiff University in 2019, and completed his dental foundation training in Swansea in the following year. He became an integral part of the dental team at {my}dentist Bristol, Wells Road in 2020. Effective communication and gaining a rapport with patients is really important to Ming. He strives to deliver long lasting dental treatment in a comfortable and caring manner, hoping patients will be at ease in the dental chair. He has a special clinical interest in Endodontics, restoring and maintaining oral health. Ming also provides ClearCorrect clear aligner treatment, whitening and bonding teeth for functional and aesthetic purposes.

Nevena qualified in her native Bulgaria in 2000, running an independent practice in Sofia for 10 years before moving to the UK in 2011. Nevena has worked in our Wells Road practice since then. Since her qualification, Nevena has explored various areas of cosmetic dentistry, completing courses in ClearCorrect clear aligners, Smile Fast and facial aesthetics. Facial aesthetics is an area Nevena is passionate about, delivering tailored solutions to patients in a safe and skilled way. Nevena and our practice are Save Face accredited, meaning that patients can have confidence that they are being treated in a safe environment by someone that is insured and that has the appropriate qualifications and training. In her spare time, Nevena loves travelling with her family, reading and cooking.

Vas trained in Athens, Greece, qualifying in 2002. He went on to establish himself there, spending two years working in private practice. In 2004 he moved to the U.K. and starting work in Bristol at our sister practice in Monks Park. He has been with us in Wells Road since 2007. In 2004 he furthered his dental studies, undertaking post graduate courses in implant dentistry. Vas is a well-known, friendly member of the Wells Road dental team, enjoying a great rapport with all his patients. He is particularly interested in placing implants and correcting teeth alignment using ClearCorrect clear aligners.

Preeti is an overseas dentist with 15 years of experience in India. After relocating to the UK, she transitioned her role into dental hygienist and therapist in 2021. Preeti has been working in {my}dentist practices across North Devon before joining our Bristol practice in 2024. Preeti is passionate about providing gentle hygiene care, particularly for anxious patients, and is skilled in treating gum disease with extensive periodontal care by supporting patient in practice and educating patient to be able to maintain oral health at home. She is passionate about motivating patients to maintain excellent oral hygiene. Outside of work, Preeti enjoys exploring the countryside and walking her Cavapoo, Sparky.
