Adnan is an enthusiastic dentist; providing the highest standard of care for his patients is at the forefront of his passion for the profession. Adnan qualified in Germany in 2019, where he continued to work in general practice before moving back to the UK in 2021. Adnan has continued to learn and upskill since qualifying, attending a number of courses in both Germany and the UK in order to be in a position to provide his patients dentistry of a high quality using modern techniques. He has experience in treating full mouth rehabilitation cases, provides clear braces using the Straumann ClearCorrect aligner system, as well as being competent in providing ‘everyday dentistry’ such as crowns, dentures, veneers and endodontics. Adnan has a straightforward and calming approach to treating his patients, conveying information in a clear and concise manner and ensuring that all patient needs are met to the highest standard. Adnan also accepts referrals from nearby practices for complex extractions.

Kathryn graduated from the university of Bristol in 1988. Since qualifying she has worked in general practice. Kathryn has been working at the Knighton practice for 33 years and is dedicated to her patients.Kathryn can provide a range of dental treatments including routine examinations, fillings, root canal treatments, extractions, whitening. Kathryn is passionate about her patients’ journey and enjoys being able to assist with dental phobic patients to access routine dental care within the general practice setting. In her free time her hobbies include gardening, growing fruit and vegetables. Kathryn is currently learning Spanish and enjoys holidays abroad.

I started my dental nursing career at Orchard Corner Dental Surgery in Knighton at the age of 18 years old. I was a Dental Hygienist for the past 29 years at the same practice until it was closed in November 2019.I am pleased to be back working in Knighton, my home town.My aim is to provide pain free dental care, in a relaxed and friendly manner. Patients give me positive feedback; especially the nervous ones. I enjoy caring for all my patients and having the challenge of making their hygienist visit, one that they no longer fear.With more adult teeth being lost through gum disease, rather than tooth decay, regular dental hygiene treatment is essential to keeping your gums and teeth healthy. Regular visits to a hygienist, combined with dental check-ups and looking after your teeth and gums at home, will greatly improve the appearance of your teeth and your oral health.I offer a professional, personalised teeth cleaning service, a process called debridement and polishing. During the appointment I will also carry out an initial dental hygiene examination.
