Sourov studied Dentistry at the University of Birmingham qualifying in 2005. He provides private cosmetic dentistry alongside his NHS work to improve his patient’s smiles offering treatments such as veneers, stain removal, teeth whitening and tooth coloured fillings. After 10 years’ experience in an NHS general practice, he became actively involved in the provision of facial aesthetics. Sourov showed a real interest in this field and in November 2015 qualified with Brian Franks completing courses to include Foundation part 1 Botulinum Toxin A, Foundation Dermal Fillers part 1 and 2 with Hyaluronic Acid. This involved treatment planning and understanding the anatomy of the muscles when providing anti-wrinkle injections, also identifying risks and gaining sufficient knowledge with hands on training in all areas. Sourov has a keen interest in music previously being part of a band, he also enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.

Afroz’s ethos is centred around her patients, building confidence and reducing anxiety to make coming to the dentist that bit easier. She enjoys family dentistry and helping people to manage their dental health. In 2006, he pursued a Master program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Manchester, earning his MSc with Merit in 2007. Following his studies, Amged returned to Libya, where he gained two years of valuable experience in oral surgery within a hospital setting. He then established his own dental practice in Tripoli, offering comprehensive general dentistry services in a calm and reassuring manner. After relocating to the UK with his family, Amged obtained the License in Dental Surgery (LDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2024. Recently, he completed an advanced course in root canal treatments, further enhancing his skills in endodontics.

Bhargavi then moved to an NHS dental practice in Hessle where she completed her Vocational Training. In 2016 Bhargavi re-located to Australia for a gap/maternity year but she loved Hull that much she just had to return and here she is working in mydentist Hessle Road. She has a special interest in minor oral surgery & complex extractions. Bhargavi also enjoys facial aesthetics and is happy to receive referrals from other practices.Bhargavi loves spending time with her two children and baking sweet things. Michael has a special interest in smile makeovers using whitening, clear aligner treatment using ClearCorrect for teeth straightening, as well as veneers, crowns and bridges for tooth wear & cosmetic reasons. Stephen has now successfully placed and restored over 1000 implants. He focuses on giving patients choice and time to discuss options along with providing high quality dental care. During her time at university, she had a keen interest in paediatrics and oral surgery. Ellie is currently undertaking further training split between the practice and the hospital in the Maxillofacial Department. In this further training, she is looking forward to gaining more experience with anxious patients and children. Ellie takes a friendly approach to dentistry; she ensures patients feel at ease when they are in the chair. Outside of work Ellie enjoys singing and playing the trombone. In addition to this, Ellie also plays for a local netball team, and she enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym, she also enjoys baking.

During her time at university, Ella enjoyed cheerleading, and she was a member of the university cheerleading team as a ‘flyer’. In addition to this, her hobbies include yoga, reading, and spending time with friends and family. In between her transition from university to work, she spent her summer travelling around Thailand and America. Ella is currently working in both practices at {my}dentist Hessle Road and in the Maxillofacial Department in hospital. Ella is looking forward to expanding her surgical skills.
