Amir Nazim GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Glasgow 2012 GDC No: 227203

Dr Amir Nazim is an Award-Winning Dentist with a special interest in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. He qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2012 with Honours and has been awarded a number of Postgraduate Diplomas. More recently, he completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Prosthodontics at the University of Central Lancashire, allowing him to design smiles and provide treatments using the latest and most advanced techniques. He was awarded a Distinction in his final year for his case presentation and research project. In 2021, Amir was awarded ‘Best Young Dentist’ at the Dentistry Scotland Awards.Amir is our resident Elite Invisalign provider who has a keen interest in straightening teeth using clear aligners. He also enjoys providing composite bonding treatments to transform smiles by recontouring teeth and closing spaces. He likes to make his patients happy and gets a real sense of satisfaction when they are delighted with their new smile. Amir is trained to provide Dental Implant treatments to replace missing teeth. He is passionate about learning new skills and committed to continually developing himself as a Dentist.Outside working hours, Amir has a keen interest in photography and has 2 young children.

Aran Maxwell-Cox GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Dundee 2014 GDC No: 251245

Aran qualified as a dentist in 2014 from the University of Dundee, Scotland and Københavns Universitet, Denmark. Aran has a passion for aesthetics and cosmetic procedures and provides minimally invasive dentistry here at Front Street. Aran completed PGCert in Facilitating Learning in Healthcare Practice at the University of Central Lancashire in 2019. He won Highly Commended Young Dentist of the Year at the the UK Dentistry Awards 2021.Aran has a passion for anatomy driven facial aesthetics in order to provide not only safe treatment but exceptional results for patients. He believes patient care is paramount and always strives to provide the best possible experience for those being treated. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with his partner and dog.

Louise Good GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Glasgow 2000 GDC No: 77588

Louise graduated with honours from The University of Glasgow in the year 2000. After qualifying, she completed her vocational training year in a dental practice in Paisley. Since then she has worked extensively in general dental practice in Ayrshire and has completed a clinical attachment in oral surgery at Crosshouse Hospital. Louise joined the team at Prestwick in 2016 and enjoys working in a modern, friendly practice, offering all aspects of dental care to her patients.Louise has gained a wide range of experience in family dental practice over the years. She enjoys keeping up to date with dental issues through reading and attending certified dental courses.

Nikki Cowan GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Glasgow 2007 GDC No: 114058

After completing her honours degree in Human Anatomy, Nikki went on to study dentistry and gained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2007. She started working at {my}dentist, Prestwick, shortly after graduating and has been there ever since. This has provided her with the opportunity to really get to know her patients which allows her to make them feel at ease in the surgery.Nikki enjoys all aspects of dentistry and firmly believes in prevention based practice. She provides a wide range of NHS and private treatments and continues to develop her skillset by attending courses including Denture Excellence. One area of dentistry which she finds particularly rewarding is treating nervous patients. With the help of the friendly and supportive team at {my}dentist,Prestwick, she has helped many patients overcome their dental phobia.She is an Ayrshire girl, born and raised, and continues to reside there with her husband, two girls and her cat. Rhona Park GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Glasgow 2011 GDC No: 209859

After graduating from Glasgow University, Rhona worked first in Invergordon then Aberdeen in the Community Dental Sector. This involved treating a variety of patients in settings including hospitals and nursing homes, carrying out dental treatment on patients of all ages and stages of health. During this time she also sat her MFDS exams at RCS Edinburgh. Rhona is interested in providing dental care in the developing world having grown up in Zambia where access to healthcare is far more limited. She has been to both Zambia and Southern India in order to use her skills in this way. Having worked in Prestwick for three years carrying out NHS and Private treatment, Rhona enjoys most clinical disciplines and sees the benefit of working as part of a large clinical team. Having been through the Denture Excellence training, Rhona is skilled in offering natural looking dentures and takes great pride in seeing the results of her work and how satisfied her patients are with the outcome.

Ross Simpson GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Glasgow 2006 GDC No: 103164

Ross qualified from the University of Glasgow with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) in 2006. After spending a year working in a dental practice in Glasgow, Ross joined the mydentist team in Prestwick in 2007.Ross enjoys all aspects of dentistry and attends many courses to continue his professional development. Ross has keen interests in the placement of all ceramic crowns and bridgework as well as posterior tooth coloured restorations. Ross also has an interest in tooth whitening.Ross thoroughly enjoys working in this dynamic, modern dental practice which offers a wide variety of dental treatments in a relaxed and friendly environment. Outside dentistry, Ross enjoys golf, tennis, snowboarding as well as spending time with his young family.

Dr. Sehr Nazim graduated from Dundee University in 2007 and has since gained extensive experience treating patients across England and Scotland. She is dedicated to patient-centered care, taking the time to understand each patient’s unique needs to deliver tailored treatments for healthy, beautiful smiles.With a passion for excellence in digital dentistry, Dr. Sehr Nazim offers a range of advanced treatments, including Invisalign, composite bonding, and gum contouring, to create balance and harmony for the perfect smile.
