Dr Eleni Smyrniotou graduated as a dentist from the University of Athens in Greece in 1990. Following graduation she trained in the use of Laser in Dentistry for periodontal treatments, whitening and oral microsurgery. Eleni has over 20 years of experience in private practice, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry and laser treatment. Throughout 1990-2012 she was also assessing and approving private dental work for a Greek insurance company. Eleni has trained in Aesthetic Orthodontics (Invisalign) and Facial Aesthetics (anti-aging treatments and dermal fillers). Additionally, she offers private treatments including Whitening and Denture Excellence. Since 2012 Eleni has been working in Cambridgeshire offering a wide range of NHS and private treatments.

She is a dedicated dentist with a special interest in periodontology, currently pursuing the prestigious specialist training program in Periodontology at King’s College London. Prior to commencing her specialty training, Dr Dourou served as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery performing complex surgical procedures, including biopsies, surgical extractions and management of traumatic injuries. She was also appointed as an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at the QMUL Centre for Oral Clinical Research, where she actively engaged in clinical trials, undertook clinical audits and provided advanced periodontal treatments. She has co-authored and published research in leading journals, focusing on advanced periodontal therapies and implant dentistry, complementing her clinical expertise.Dr Dourou is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and the Royal College of Surgeons of England after completing her MFDS qualification in 2023. She is committed to delivering evidence-based care and enhancing patient outcomes in periodontal health.

Vaios Douros GDP

Dr Vaios Douros trained at the University of Athens in Greece, and qualified as a dentist in 1990. After graduating, he worked in the maxillofacial department of the Athens University Dental Hospital for 2 years. Vaios spent a further 2.5 years treating patients at the Orthodontic Central Clinic of Athens, with a special interest in preventative orthodontic treatment. He has also specialised in the use of a Laser in dentistry (KTP, ND, EmR-Y) for periodontal treatments, whitening and oral microsurgery. Vaios has a keen interest in advanced restorative treatment, laser treatment, cosmetic dentistry and prosthetics on implants. Vaios works Saturdays and from June he will be going fully private. She has successfully cleared her Overseas Part 1 registration examination in the U.K.Ramandeep is an overseas qualified dentist. She completed her B.D.S in 2008-09 in India. She has vast experience working as a Dentist from 2009-2013. After graduating in Dentistry she completed her Masters in Hospital Administration in 2015. She has successfully worked with many hospitals in India before moving to the U.K.Ramandeep worked with NHS Professionals and the U.K Health Security Agency (previously called Public Health England) during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has worked with many Private and NHS practices as a Dental Hygienist. Ramandeep enjoys working with all members of the dental team to give patients a holistic approach to dental care. She is especially keen on prevention and creating tailored oral hygiene regimes for each patient. She regularly completes training courses to keep up to date with new techniques.When not working Ramandeep likes spending time with her family.
